Laure Victoria Gaury A contemporary high jewelry house in Geneva

Welcome to my blog, because yes, in 2025, to be able to rank well on Google, you have to write a blog. And rather than using ChatGPT to talk about 18-carat gold talisman jewelry handmade in Geneva, I'm going to use this platform to express myself sincerely about my creative work.
A poetic and philosophical jewelry
My name is Laure Victoria Gaury and in 2024 I created my eponymous contemporary Haute Joaillerie house in Geneva, Switzerland, where I explore my creative and mental process through handmade 18-carat gold sculpture jewelry. Because yes, we are in an era where capitalism has taken over the meaning of things and my medium is that of pageantry. But my work is not. I make philosophical jewelry of Swiss artisanal haute joaillerie, in 18-carat gold, and I transmit and infuse my work with a deep meaning aligned with this time of human chaos.
Doubt, the enemy of creation, also in contemporary jewelry
Doubt is our worst enemy, because it is the spontaneous act of going with the flow of inspiration that comes out of us that is precious. Listening to this creative flow is unique, few listen to it sincerely. Much creative work is a repetition of what has already been done, like an Ouroboros of eternal recycling with slight variations. So to be able to completely surrender to a channel of expression, where we push ourselves to these eternal questions “is this good? is this bad?”, these questions have no importance. Doubt, ego and humility are human formatting that have nothing to do with Art. But we are not just a channel of expression, we are also human beings struggling to integrate into society, to find our place, to be heard, to be recognized for what we do. And I think that's what pressures us to make the wrong choices about our value, because it's quantified by its monetization. Quantified by the number of people who follow us, who buy from us, and popularity trumps talent.
But as many people as there are on Earth, Art is not intended for the masses, it is intended for anyone it can touch.
Art is a door that leads to dreams and beyond, of which we are the gatekeepers, and our role is to keep these doors open.
The concrete behind the idea, less blah blah more action, conscious and certified jewelry
This is where, in my contemporary jewelry design workshop in Geneva, where I create unique, hand-carved pieces, ankle-length takes on its full meaning.
In the next posts I will develop what initiates my creative work, the doubts and questions that cross my mind and the steps I go through to arrive at a piece of high artisanal jewelry in yellow, red and white gold.
All my jewelry is crafted in my Geneva workshop. All my stones are certified, and the external suppliers are local (Switzerland) and RJC (Responsible Jewellery Council) certified. I love recycling gold from personal pieces that no longer fit into your daily life and creating a piece that reflects your essence, which you can then share with others.
Each piece of contemporary 18-carat gold jewelry is a philosophical talisman, intended to accompany you through life with its personal message.
Discover my latest philosophical pieces in gold sculpted on the ankle, in Geneva on my website , but also in my boutique where I will welcome you in person at 15, Rue du Nant in Geneva, on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
